I'm a Senior DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer based in Dublin, Ireland, with nine years of hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale cloud infrastructure at Twilio and Stripe — two of the world's most demanding fintech and communications platforms.

My career is grounded in a computer science degree from the University of Limerick, where I developed a deep interest in distributed systems and automation. That curiosity drove me straight into production engineering — and I haven't slowed down since.

I specialize in multi-cloud reliability, GitOps, and end-to-end DevSecOps pipelines. My focus is always the same: helping engineering teams ship with confidence and keeping critical systems resilient under any load.

  • Built a security-first CI/CD ecosystem integrating automated vulnerability scanning (Snyk, Aqua), IaC provisioning (Terraform), and secrets management (Vault) — eliminating supply-chain risk while cutting cloud spend by 15 %.
  • Delivered unified observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) with real-time Kafka event pipelines, reducing mean time to resolution by 40 % and scaling data-sync capacity from 30 M to 150 M rows.

  • Delivered zero-downtime migration of a 500 M-row Postgres table using a four-phase feature-flag strategy with Prometheus-monitored backfill, completing the cutover with no service interruption.
